Ivo Pulga just wants his Cagliari side to get to 40 points, and is targeting a win away at Genoa this Saturday.

The Isolani go to the Marassi tomorrow looking for the three points that would take them a step closer to salvation with 36 points on the board.

And the Coach is confident that his men can go to the mainland and come back with a win.

“This team can get to 40 points, I am sure of that,” he told a Press conference. “Even if the points tally for safety is likely to be lower than that.

“40 is the target we’ve set ourselves. We want to play in this League next season, and 40 will enable us to do that.

“Recently though, I’ve seen a Genoa side with a nice shape who have been playing well, especially at home.

“Playing at the Marassi seems to do wonders for them. And they also have Gasperini at the helm, which is something we can’t underestimate.

“They’ll be looking to give a reaction after last week’s loss to Torino, and we have to be wary of that.”
