Sebastian Giovinco revealed an injury and thanked Antonio Conte for turning his Juventus career around.
The Atomic Ant went off at half-time with a muscular problem, so had to hold back during the post-match celebrations after a 1-0 victory over Atalanta.
“The pain goes away when there are moments of such joy and satisfaction,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
Giovinco was often jeered by the Juventus fans, but after Conte embraced him following a substitution and shouted at the crowd, the situation improved.
“These things help you to grow, as everything does. I think from that moment the season changed for me and for the fans.
“I don’t want to think about that anymore, as I just want to focus on positive things.
“We always believed in the Scudetto and it was tough to think otherwise, even though Roma had a great season, but we were devastating and the title was fully deserved.
"The campaign isn't over yet, so our next target is to reach 100 points."
