James Pallotta has commented on his belief that both Miralem Pjanic and Rudi Garcia will remain with Roma into the future.

The duo have both seen speculation over their future this term amid the Giallorossi’s rise to second in the League, with Pjanic in particular linked with a summer sale to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the club’s President has told reporters upon arriving in Italy today that he sees both the Bosnia-Herzegovina international and Coach Garcia staying with the capital club.

“Do I think Pjanic will be part of Roma’s future? Yes. It depends on him, but that is part of the game,” Pallotta has told laroma24.it.

“We have already spoken to Pjanic, everything is fine and the guys are all happy.

“And Rudi Garcia? He will remain here for a long time. I do not understand why everyone thinks that he will go away.”

Pallotta was asked for comment on how Roma’s season has turned out.

“I’m happy, the last one [against Catania] was a crazy game. Juventus have had an incredible year, but we have had our best season ever.

“There will definitely be the arrival of some new players, but certainly the team of this year will be there next year.”

The President was also asked for comment on last weekend’s incidents ahead of the Coppa Italia Final hosted at the Stadio Olimpico.

“I have not seen them but I have heard. And it is a terrible tragedy that has nothing to do with Roma. We must stop the violence and the racism to return Italian football to being the world’s finest.”
