Marco Verratti is ‘calm’ about the prospect of making Italy’s squad for this summer’s World Cup.

The Paris Saint-Germain youngster has been capped four times by Cesare Prandelli since his debut in 2012.

And the 21-year-old has insisted that he is just concentrating on the rest of the domestic campaign.

“To play in a World Cup would be a dream come true for me,” he told a Press conference in the French capital.

“I hope that I will be given that opportunity, but if not I will continue to work on my game and grow as a player.

“I’m thinking about the World Cup, of course. But it’s not stressing me out. I’m awaiting the verdict with calm.”
