Giuseppe Rossi reacted to his inclusion in Italy’s preliminary World Cup squad. “Hoping to share more great success together.”
The Fiorentina striker had been a huge doubt for the tournament in Brazil after he suffered knee ligament damage on January 5.
He has only played in three games since then, all as a substitute, scoring one goal.
“Hoping to share more great success together... Thank you to everyone!” wrote Rossi on his Twitter account.
Despite missing four months of the campaign, Pepito is still the 10th most prolific player in Serie A this season with 15 goals.
