New Lazio Coach Stefano Pioli has called for his side to show dedication to the cause as they prepare for the new season.
The 48-year-old replaced Edy Reja as boss of the Biancocelesti earlier this summer and, speaking at a Press conference to announce the signing of Filip Djordjevic, he said his first impression of his new squad has been good.
“The first impression has been positive, I have come in to a team and a group who are prepared to work,” Pioli commented.
“We have started working, our preparation will be important because a Coach brings new methods and rules with him.
“Therefore, it needs everyone to be willing to dedicate themselves to the work with great enthusiasm.”
The former Bologna Coach was then asked what Djordjevic would add to his side.
“He is determined, he has presented himself well. He has the quality and the character to become important for us.”
