CEO Beppe Marotta has paid tribute to the work of Antonio Conte during his time as Juventus Coach.

The tactician left the Bianconeri yesterday evening after three successive Serie A titles and has now been replaced in the hot-seat by Max Allegri.

“Everyone knows how the day finished yesterday, with the end of the experience of Antonio Conte as Coach of Juventus,” Marotta said at the Press conference to announce Allegri’s unveiling.

“It was an extraordinarily positive experience, because what he did over his three years was unforgettable and something historic.

“Winning three Scudetti in a row and two Super Cups over the course of three years is something that will remain the most important thing, which is winning trophies.

“It’s also the chance for me to thank Antonio Conte for what he has done for Juventus, for what he has given in terms of the growth of this club.

“Antonio Conte is not a winning Coach because he has obtained these results, but because he has shown his great professionalism. He has great capability, knowledge and footballing ideas that were shown not just during matches on Sundays, but also through the culture of hard work he always showed during the week.

“He is a great motivator, so we must wish him all the best for a career rich in success.”
