Orlando City President Flavio Augusto Da Silva confirms “Robinho wants to join us and we’re talking to Milan.”
The Florida club will join MLS in March 2015, so the deal would likely be the same as Ricky Kaka – spending the next six months on loan in Brazil.
“We haven’t yet bought Robinho, but we are talking to Milan and in our view he’ll be a great reinforcement for our team,” the Orlando City chief told Radio Bandeirantes.
“He is a great player, he just turned 30, is very motivated and showed he wants to play for our club.
“Would he spend six months on loan like Kaka? I respect the desire of the player very much. In case we were able to buy Robinho, he’d decide his destiny for the next six months.”
