Milan have rejected a €16m offer for Stephan El Shaarawy from Real Madrid, it has been claimed this afternoon.
Despite an injury-ravaged season last time out, La Repubblica believe that Los Blancos made a move for the Rossoneri youngster earlier this week.
However, the paper suggests that Pippo Inzaghi’s side quickly came back and told the European champions that the striker was not for sale.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have only just signed James Rodriguez for €80m, but are thought to be looking for a direct replacement for Alvaro Morata.
The Spain Under-21 international left the Spanish capital for Juventus this summer, leaving the Santiago Bernabeu outfit without a youthful goalscoring option from the bench.
That won’t though, be El Shaarawy.
