Livorno have announced a partnership with Ligue 1 outfit Monaco, with players leaving the Riviera for the Serie B side.

The Amaranto were relegated from the top-flight last season, but despite their fall from grace, President Aldo Spinelli has confirmed that last season’s runners-up in France have joined them in partnership.

“We have ratified a partnership with Monaco that will allow us to have three [of their] players,” Spinelli told La Nazione.

“[The players] include a central defender and a striker, [they will arrive] in the coming hours.”

It is, however, not yet known the names of said players.
