Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has promised his World Cup bite on Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini was his last.
Though the Uruguayan escaped punishment at the time, he was hit with a four-month worldwide ban from football in the aftermath of the incident.
During that time he has completed a switch to the Camp Nou side from Liverpool, while the severity of his ban has been reduced so that he is at least now able to train with his new teammates.
“The ban is what it is and I need to accept it,” Suarez told reporters after appearing in Barca’s 6-0 friendly win over Club Leon.
"I say to fans, don't worry, because I won't do that anymore.
"I spoke to my psychologist and he said I had to face it and say sorry. I did, now I would rather focus on the present, which is Barcelona."
