Palermo have officially signed Simon Makienok from Brondby. “This was the best opportunity for me.”
The 23-year-old centre-forward passed his medical this morning and put pen to paper on a four-year contract.
“I am happy to be here and Palermo was the best opportunity for me,” he told the official Rosanero website.
“It is a great club in a great nation. I want to score many goals with this jersey.”
Makienok, who stands at 2.01m (6ft 7in), revealed he got advice on the Sicilians from fellow Dane Simon Kjaer.
“Kjaer spoke very highly of the club and advised me to come to Palermo.”
