Florence outlet La Nazione anticipates that on from that procedure, the player will likely return home on September 10 and begin a seven-day immediate phase of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
It is speculated that the 27-year-old will then return to Italy to continue his recovery by September 17.
La Nazione reiterate, though, that much depends on the player’s physical response to early post-op treatment, as well as if any damage to the ligament is discovered.
