Croatia captain Darijo Srna doubts Italy will miss Andrea Pirlo and has “no problem” with Daniele De Rossi.

The Azzurri host Croatia at San Siro on Sunday at 19.45 GMT in their Euro 2016 qualifier, although there are concerns over floods and torrential rain.

“The conditions will be the same for both teams. We just hope that we can play on a decent pitch,” said Srna in his Press conference.

“There are three important points up for grabs against Italy, but at the end of the day every point counts, even when you are playing Malta.

“Pirlo is out injured, but I am sure Antonio Conte will find the right moves to replace him.”

Tomorrow will be De Rossi’s 100th Italy cap and he has history with Srna, famously elbowing him during a 2011 game between Roma and Shakhtar Donetsk.

“There’s no problem between us, it is all forgotten. In fact, I take this opportunity to congratulate Olic, who will also be playing his 100th game for Croatia.”
