“He wants to stay at Napoli through January, then in June we will decide his future based on our communication with Napoli.
“We have not received offers within Italy, he really trusts Rafa Benitez and is certain he’ll have more playing time going forward.”
It had been reported that Zapata’s celebration was an outpouring of anger at being benched again.
“That goal against Sampdoria was extremely important, as it gave Napoli a point in a crucial fixture. His celebration was not aimed at the Coach or his playing time, but he heard some jeers from Napoli fans when he came off the bench.”
