Porto defender Rolando is reportedly Juventus’ primary target in the January transfer window, with Andrea Barzagli still out.

Barzagli hasn’t played a single minute this season for the Bianconeri, while Rolando, who spent last year on loan at Inter hasn’t appeared for Porto.

According to Calciomercato, the 29-year-old centre-back is the club’s number one target in January. The player’s contract expires in 2016, and the website believes that a low asking price, coupled with the fact he can play in the Champions League would make Rolando an attractive proposition for the Old Lady.

The alternative would be Aleksandar Dragović of Dinamo Kiev according to the site. The 23-year-old would not come cheap, having been bought for €10m, but an annual wage of €1m is easily within Juventus’ remit, while he too would be available for the Champions League.
