The result of the ballot on Lega Serie A’s plan to bail out Parma has been revealed, with Cesena the only club voting against.

A deal has been struck where fines paid by Serie A clubs will be handed over to administrators in the event Parma are ruled against at a bankruptcy hearing on March 19.

The deal is conditional on the Ducali players playing the two games in the intervening period, against Atalanta and Sassuolo, with Carlo Tavecchio travelling to Collecchio to explain this to the players.

Meanwhile, the voting has emerged over the agreement, with 16 clubs voting in favour, three abstaining and Cesena voting against.

The move was expected, as the Cavallucci Marini President had already declared his opposition to any rescue package.
