Aurelio De Laurentiis won’t let Napoli players speak, but hopes they “stay concentrated” after crushing Sampdoria 4-2.

The Partenopei are continuing to hold a Press silence, so Coach Rafa Benitez and the players are not allowed to speak with the media.

President De Laurentiis gave a brief interview with club radio station Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“It was a good win. Now we hope the lads will stay concentrated and continue like this until the end of the season.”

Most of the interview was about the violent incidents that occurred before the Turin Derby, as the Juventus team bus had windows smashed and there were 11 injured Granata fans by a firework thrown by Bianconeri supporters into the stands.

“We need [Minister of the Interior Angelino] Alfano to take a good hard look at himself. I know he is worried about it, but he’s far behind, because we already told him to give power to the police in the stands like they do in England. He didn’t listen.

“This violence has nothing to do with organised fan groups. Dear Alfano, why do you want to wait for something an eight-year-old child could organise?

“We are tired of this inertia that guarantees political votes. In England the Prime Minister moved to fix violence in stadiums, while here everyone just stands around.”
