Barbara Berlusconi, daughter of Milan President Silvio and joint-CEO of the club, denies she is opposed to a potential takeover.
It was reported earlier today that the director was attempting to convince her father not to relinquish control of the club to Thai investor Bee Taechaubol.
“The entourage of Barbara Berlusconi categorically denies some stories which have appeared in the media in which she has pushed for the club not to be sold,” a statement reads.
“Barbara Berlusconi has only the best interests of the club and its fans at heart, she remains distant from scenarios such as a possible sale or partial retention of the club by Fininvest.
“The only person who will make a decision on the future of the club is, as has been the case for 29 years, the President, Silvio Berlusconi.”
