“Ciro needs to be a little more patient in Germany, because it’s never easy at the start in a foreign country,” Southampton striker Pellè told Rai Sport.
“Learning the language is fundamental to communicate both on and off the field. For a forward, you need to understand the intentions of your teammates in seconds.”
The centre-forward joked about his status as an ‘old-fashioned’ target man.
“Like it or not, there’s always a player with my characteristics in every team and I hope to become as modern as possible.
“We are happy if Antonio Conte is happy with this squad. He has a strong character and that makes you really trust him. As a Coach, he is extremely determined.”
