Frosinone-Roma is generating public order controversy, but the home club officially denies a stadium move.

The game between the Scudetto favourites and the newly promoted Canarini could bring about trouble as only 2,000 tickets are on sale for the visiting supporters.

On from Roma's clamorous 2-1 win over rivals Juventus, their fans are expected to visit tiny Frosinone in great numbers.

Frosinone has a whole population of 46,000, compared to the Stadio Olimpico's capacity of 73,000 in Rome.

The overflow of Roma supporters in the streets could not bide well for the town, and some have speculated that the game might be moved to a different locality, even the Olimpico itself.

Frosinone released an official statement today, denying that this was even a possibility.

“Regarding the rumours spread in the last few hours by some members of the Press, on the presumed inversion of stadiums for the Frosinone-Roma game, Frosinone Calcio communicate that there is no possibility that the game itself, scheduled for Saturday September 12 at 18:00 [Italian time], could be played in a different locality than the Stadio Comunale of Frosinone,” reads the statement.
