Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is pleased with Milan's young Manuel Locatelli after winning the San Nicola trophy ahead of Inter and Bari.
“Winning is always preferable to losing,” Mihajlovic told Milan Channel after the match. “Even though in matches like these, losing is a tragedy and winning is the norm.
“We played well, relaxed, with some good passing. I appreciated the quality of Locatelli, I wanted to see him.
“It was the first time and he was a little shy. He needs to play the ball vertically some more, but I liked him, he did well.
“We'll see about formations on Saturday when all of the players are available. We always try all formations.
“We're going to play with the 4-3-3 on Saturday, even though the 4-4-2 is still our template formation on the long run.”
