According to ItaSportPress.it, director general Beppe Marotta and Coach Max Allegri were not overly impressed by Navas, who was earlier considered a possible candidate.

Their attention has therefore turned to different targets, starting from Real Madrid's Isco, who also enjoys the attention of Liverpool, and on to another Manchester City player, Nasri.

The Frenchman in particular appears to the be the Old Lady's top target for that position.
