“Napoli-Inter is a game we started preparing after the Europa League match against Club Brugge,” the full-back told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“It's not a Scudetto decider because there are still many games to be played and we must try winning as many of them as possible to stay in the higher positions.

“I'd like to ask our supporters to follow us and to be patient on Sunday, because the game is going to be very tactical and Inter are strong at defending. It's going to be a really difficult game and we'll need their support.

“The Coach always tells us to keep playing our football even when the game gets rough, because we have great champions who can be decisive.

“We've all known each other for years and this is a huge help. Sarri fixed the defensive phase and things really picked up.”

Napoli are unbeaten in 17 competitive games, winning 15 of them, so Ghoulam can’t help but dream of the title.

“Naples is a magnificent city and everybody stops me on the street to take pictures, but by now I'm used to it and I like it here.

“When we won the Super Cup there was chaos, I can't imagine what it's going to be like should we win the Scudetto.

“I only think of Napoli and I don't look at the standings. We must think about our own path, we'll draw our conclusions towards the end of the season.”
