He will turn 18 in January and has already been nicknamed ‘the new Marcelo.’

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve have set their sights on Rogerio and are ready to swoop before other clubs.

The operation is said to be completed in conjunction with Doyen Sport.

Juventus have arguably already got the left-back role sewn up for the foreseeable future with Alex Sandro, but Patrice Evra is expected to move on next season.

It is hoped Rogerio could learn from the 24-year-old fellow Brazilian and become his apprentice in Turin.
