Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has been voted the best Ghana player of the year.
The Ghana Sports Fans Awards are given out by national radio station Happy FM.
Badu topped the list, beating Andre Ayew of Swansea City and Torino’s Afriyie Acquah.
“I am very satisfied, it was a great surprise for me to win this award. Serie A has a lot of followers in Ghana.
“I thank all the fans who voted for me and I’m ready to start playing for Udinese as soon as the campaign resumes.”
