“It’s not a coincidence that Inter are top of the table. Tomorrow they will aim for the maximum result and so will we,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“We must step on to the field at San Siro without fear, the way we have done against other big clubs, knowing their strengths and run of clean sheets.

“Having said all that, regardless of Inter’s quality, I am more interested in what my team does. I want the team to play good football and we must be more decisive in front of goal, because we don’t convert the chances we create.

“That’s what happened against Frosinone on Wednesday and I am not satisfied with the 2-2 draw, even if it’s true that we used to lose games like that.”

Sassuolo have faced Inter four times in Serie A and lost two of them by 7-0 scorelines.

“Since our last visit to San Siro, Sassuolo have grown a great deal. We did get some small revenge by beating them on home turf.

“Inter were like a syndrome we have to overcome and we did it with that victory. Tomorrow we must fight them blow for blow and in my view Joao Miranda is the best centre-back in Italy right now.

“In attack Inter have players like Adem Ljajic, Stevan Jovetic and the two-footed Ivan Perisic. Mauro Icardi can disappear from a game for 20 minutes, but give him half a chance and he’s decisive.”
