Napoli are attempting a quick settlement to sign River Plate's Emanuel Mammana, who is also a Milan target.
The 19-year-old defender had in fact been identified as the prime objective for the Rossoneri's defence, but he may end up at a different Serie A club after all.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio's site, Mammana's agents visited Napoli in the last few days and started discussing a possible deal.
The Partenopei want to establish a buying price as quickly as possible and then decide whether to make a move, bringing the whole operation to an end in the space of 20 days.
Mammana had been sought by Fiorentina in January but was deemed too expensive at the time. Now he is the object of Napoli and Milan's desire, alongside Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.
