Max Allegri will field Daniele Rugani against Empoli, but warns Juventus 'must let youngsters develop naturally'.

It kicks off tomorrow evening at 19:45 UK time. The doubtful conditions of Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli mean that a younger alternative will be needed in the backline.

“Rugani will play, I'm sure at 99 per cent,” Allegri told the Press. “I'll have to see about the conditions of the other two defenders and choose whether to field a three- or four-man defence.

“But we have to win regardless of the formation, there are still many points to be played for. Then we'll think about next week against Milan.

“The team's doing fine, everyone's back in a good condition. [Juan] Cuadrado only came back yesterday evening, but from a mental and physical point of view they all seem fine.”

Pogba is still being linked heavily to a number of potential transfers, which led some to wonder if he can stay focused on his games.

“It won't be difficult at all for him. These are professionals, and they have to think about what they've got to do.

“So far the season has been good and the comeback was substantial, but now the hard part begins .

“When you get to the end of the season there are less games available to reach your objectives.

“We have two objectives to reach, the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia, and that's what we'll be thinking about.”

The Juventus youth squad recently won the Viareggio youth tournament, also known as the Coppa Carnevale, but Allegri isn't thinking of calling up any youngsters too early.

“I'd like to pay my compliments to the lads, the Coach and the whole youth sector of Juventus. They're working well and the Viareggio victory is important and prestigious.

“Having said that, the lads are young and they must be allowed to work with serenity. We mustn't put strange ideas into their heads.

“They often come and work with us. They're developing, Fabio Grosso and the rest of the youth sector lead them well.

“They'll have time to show their worth, and they must follow a natural path like all youngsters.”
