The newly-appointed tactician has a tough job in selecting a stable squad, as the Zebrette have one of the most dynamic and changing market strategies in Italy.

“At Palermo I had a similar situation, with a lot of foreigners held together by a group of Italians,” Iachini told the Press. “We need to reproduce this mix in Udine. Of course, with the departures of [Antonio] Di Natale and [Maurizio] Domizzi, we'll have to consider adding some new players to help us in integrating the younger ones.

“I already worked with Felipe at Siena. He's an excellent professional. I know [Francesco] Lodi, too, from Vicenza.

“In any case, every player is equal to me. Those who earn their place on the pitch will be fielded. Everyone must bring positive energy.”

Sporting director Cristiano Giaretta also intervened during the Press conference for the Coach's presentation, confirming that loanee Duvan Zapata would not return to Napoli.

“He enjoyed himself very much in Udine. As of now, [President Aurelio] De Laurentiis hasn't knocked on our door.”
