Emanuele Giaccherini’s agent confirms “Fiorentina asked me about him and we’re ready to talk” if a formal offer arrives for Sunderland.
The winger was revitalised by his season on loan at Bologna and is included in the 30-man preliminary Italy squad for Euro 2016.
“Before Empoli-Fiorentina, director Daniele Pradè asked me about Giaccherini, but I had sworn not to tell anyone,” agent Furio Valcareggi told Lady Radio.

Today Pradè resigned from Fiorentina and he’ll be replaced by Pantaleo Corvino as director of sport.
“If Fiorentina and Corvino want to call, then we’re ready to talk. They have to hurry up, though, because he is in the Nazionale and appreciated by many Coaches.”
This season the 31-year-old scored seven goals in 27 Serie A games.
