According to China Central Television, four of the entrepreneurs looking to buy from Silvio Berlusconi are Robin Li, Eric Xu, Hui Ka Yan and He Xiangjian.

Robin Li is thought to be the leader of the consortium, and is described by MilanNews as China’s fourth-richest man, with assets of $14bn, having founded the search engine Baidu.

Head of Guangzhou Real Estate Group Hui Ka Yan is also thought to be involved, as he’s known to be a big football fan. He Xiangjian is the owner of Midea, a Chinese home appliance country.

There is doubt over the final investor, as there are two prominent businessmen named Eric Xu.

However, it’s thought the most likely figure is the CEO of Milan’s trading partner Huawei.
