Empoli have announced the permanent signing of Marcel Büchel from Juventus.
The Liechtenstein international spent last season on loan in Tuscany, scoring twice and providing one assist.
“Empoli FC announces that is has activated its right of redemption to sign the player Marcel Büchel outright,” a statement on the club’s official website read.
Büchel failed to make a single Serie A appearance for the Bianconeri, but did feature against Red Bull Salzburg in the Europa League in November 2010.
