The Poland international is at Euro 2016 and was supposedly on the verge of joining Liverpool after turning down a move to Napoli.

Another more likely candidate is Ljajic, who worked with Montella at Fiorentina.

He is owned by Roma and was on loan at Inter, who have decided not to buy him outright.

The Serbia international winger had been tipped to reunite with Sinisa Mihajlovic at Torino, but the deal is not done yet.

Sampdoria midfielder Fernando was reportedly going to join Spartak Moscow, but could be talked into remaining in Serie A with Montella’s new club.
