Roma have reportedly offered Daniele De Rossi a one-year contract extension, with a diminished salary.
The defensive midfielder was outstanding this summer throughout the Euros and on Wednesday night against Porto, and the Giallorossi directors have been persuaded to keep him another year.
De Rossi's current contract is set to expire in 2017, and the Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma offered a renewed deal until 2018. This new arrangement would adjust De Rossi's salary from €6.5m per year to €4m.
