New Belgium Coach Roberto Martinez has implemented a new no-smoking policy specifically aimed at Roma’s Radja Nainggolan.
The midfielder was photographed puffing away on a cigarette at the team hotel during Euro 2016 and then-tactician Marc Wilmots confessed he regularly gave Nainggolan a room with a balcony so he wouldn’t set off smoke alarms.
It’s now reported that new boss Martinez is cracking down on bad behaviour off the pitch, banning cigarettes and alcohol from training camps.
There will be a €1,000 fine for turning up late and a €2,000 penalty for smoking or drinking.
According to Lavenir.net, Eden Hazard will also be fined for wearing Nike branded clothing while on international duty, as Belgium are sponsored by Adidas.
