“At the end of the day there is always a positive aspect. It was the start and I want to congratulate those who made their Champions League debuts. If we talk about the performance on the pitch, I haven’t much to criticise.
“In the first half after taking the lead, my players felt more confident and the same thing happened against Shakhtar Donetsk last week. Then circumstances changed.”
In their most recent domestic game, Dynamo were pegged back to 1-1 by a last-gasp Shakhtar equaliser.
Dynamo Kiev went down to 10 men after already-booked Serhiy Sydorchuk received another yellow card for simulation.
“If you get a yellow card and are somewhat accustomed to getting them… you need to be more careful and more responsible.”

“My opinion is positive, you can see full well he has analysed Dynamo Kiev matches and our style of football. The performance tonight proved it, as Napoli were continually doubling up and comfortably opening passing channels.
“This is why the result was positive for them.”
Elsewhere in Group B, Besiktas grabbed a last-minute equaliser to draw 1-1 at Benfica.
