Talks over Marcelo Brozovic’s new Inter deal have been halted after his disciplinary problems, reports suggest.

The Croatian midfielder has been excluded from Frank de Boer’s last two squads after reacting angrily to being substituted against Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

Brozovic was so incensed to have been given the hook that he wanted to leave San Siro and head home, something which club and Coach found unacceptable.

After interest from Juventus this summer, the Nerazzurri were working on a new contract, but calciomercato.com reports that those talks have been put on hold now.

De Boer warned yesterday that Brozovic must prove himself worthy of a return, and calciomercato warns that the midfielder could leave in January.
