“I think we played much, much better than in previous games and we got the deserved victory,” Dzeko told Sky Sport Italia.

“We have character, even if today we were without Kevin Strootman, who has more character than anyone. Coming to Napoli and winning 3-1 is not easy and we proved ourselves.

“I scored two goals, that is very important for me. I think my performance against Inter was better, personally, but these were my first goals away from home this season and I always want to improve.

“This was a crucial victory for Roma.”
