“Above all we fought back from an early goal away from home to absolutely dominate and that must give us a push for the future.

“We must not lower the intensity level, as when we do against teams this good on set plays, we risk getting into trouble. The team reacted well and maintained the fire in the bellies we had preparing for the match.

“The lads understood perfectly that the system isn’t the issue, it’s how they interpret the dynamics. We converted so many of our chances and it worked very well with these quick vertical runs and passes.”
