Milan shirts aid Chapecoense

Mauro Icardi’s Inter armband commemorates Chapecoense, while Milan face Crotone with special shirts whose profits will go to the Brazilian club.

The side was practically wiped out when their plane crashed in Colombia on the way to the Copa Sudamericana final with Atletico Medellin.

There have been shows of solidarity from all over the football world, including Brazilian clubs offering to loan their players for free next season.

This evening Inter take on Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo and Icardi’s armband will be emblazoned with the Chapecoense badge.

Milan are going a step further, announcing that on Sunday they will wear special jerseys in the Serie A match against Crotone at San Siro.

It will have the Chapecoense badge on the sleeve and on the back written ‘FORÇA CHAPE’

The special edition jersey worn by the players will be sold after the match and the profits given to Chapecoense.

Atalanta also announced they will wear the Chapecoense badge on the sleeve of their jersey in Saturday's trip to Juventus.

A minute's silence will be held before every Serie A and B match this weekend.
