Torino midfielder Mirko Valdifiori admits he was “let down by his experience at Napoli” and prepares to face his former club.

The ex-Empoli man followed Coach Maurizio Sarri to the Stadio San Paolo last summer, but struggled for playing time after a change of system to 4-3-3.

“These two sides are both in great shape and Torino put in a strong performance in the Derby della Mole, even if they lost,” agent Mario Giuffredi told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“Valdifiori has put in many great performances since coming to Torino, as we’ve rediscovered the Valdifiori we saw two years ago.

“He will be glad to face Napoli again, as he is very fond of the city and the club that gave him a big opportunity. Of course, he did feel let down by his experience at Napoli, having spent only a year there, so naturally he’ll also have the desire to prove himself to the fans.”
