The agent of defender Martin Caceres has spoken about the possibility that the former Juventus man could join Inter.

The Uruguayan has been a free agent since being released by the Bianconeri in the summer, and since then has continued to be linked with a myriad of clubs in different countries.

After linked with a move to the Nerazzurri in the summer, the 29-year-old was also rumoured to have had a trial with the club whilst under the stewardship of former Coach Frank de Boer.

After linked with a move to the Nerazzurri in the summer, the 29-year-old was also rumoured to have had a trial with the club whilst under the stewardship of former Coach Frank de Boer.

The player’s agent Marcelo Curbelo spoke to the Press to confirm that a deal was still a possibility, whilst also hinting that Caceres would like to play in Brazil.

"He loves Brazilian football and he would like to wear the shirt of a great club there," the agent told Hoje em Dia.

"We have options and we can never discard certain possibilities.

"The interest in Martin comes from many quarters. Atletico Mineiro and Flamengo like him and there is also the possibility that he will go to play in Europe, with Inter Milan and other teams.
