"Our principles should always remain during games," the Coach told Milan TV.

"With [Juraj] Kucka on the pitch we can also take advantage of long balls like we already have done this year.

"The more alternatives you have, the better."

"For decades, the youth sector has been Atalanta's mission, in the last 20 years along with Roma they are the club that perhaps that has produced the most.

"They deploy man marking and all-out aggression and that creates a duel, forming their principles of the game.

"We’ll need a little luck to break the deadlock and not lose the defensive balance in the game.

"[Carlos] Bacca and [Giacomo] Bonaventura are available and are two extremely important players in the team. I'm glad to have them back.

"When I think about formation, I do not think about potential warnings, yesterday [Manuel] Locatelli was a bit tired.

"I think he will train with the team today, I will talk with the doctors. We’ll see tomorrow.

"With regard to the substitutes I already know, but I do not want to anticipate anything."

What are the advantages of fielding young players, like Milan have done already this season?

"I think it's different, there is a greater sense of belonging. But there are also players who come from elsewhere who have a sense of ownership equal to or nearly equal to those from the youth sector.

"The youth of Milan is doing a great job, it's not easy to bring players into the first team, let alone at Milan.

"In the history of all winning clubs, they always draw from the youth sector, it brings you something in the sense of belonging but also in a financial sense, because what savings you make, you can invest on what you are lacking.

"I am very proud to be here, it is a dream come true. I would like wish the club a Happy Birthday, and also Happy Christmas to all the Milan fans."
