Sky Sports Deutschland are again reporting that Theo Hernandez would be open to joining Bayern Munich, but there has been no direct talks with Milan.

The left-back has long been a target for the German giants, but had until now not seemed remotely interested in leaving San Siro.

Although Italian sources maintain that situation has really not changed, Sky Sports Deutschland continue to insist Theo Hernandez is open to joining Bayern Munich this summer.

He is under contract until June 2026 and preparing to negotiate a new deal, having joined from Real Madrid for €22.8m in 2019.

Theo Hernandez future in doubt

So far this season, Theo Hernandez has contributed five goals and 10 assists in 44 competitive appearances for the Rossoneri.

If he was to leave, then Milan would likely demand at least €80m to sell Theo Hernandez, probably more.

The France international is 26 years old and spent a period this term playing in central defence to cover the gaps during an injury crisis.

If Theo Hernandez was to consider Bayern Munich, he wouldn’t need to go far for advice, because his brother Lucas Hernandez played there from 2019 to 2023 when moving to Paris Saint-Germain.
