Igor Tudor’s Lazio will be looking to take a step forward in their fight for a spot in Europe when they travel to an out-of-form Monza.

The match between the Biancorossi and the Biancocelesti kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the U-Power Stadium in Monza.

Tudor has quickly found a rhythm since taking over Lazio back in March and has put his side in the thick of a fight for European qualification, sitting seventh in the table with 55 points, just four behind fifth place Roma.

The Biancocelesti are without the injured Mario Gila and Manuel Lazzari. Pedro is just a booking away from picking up a one-match ban.

Monza have only managed two points in their last five league outings, drawing Lecce and Bologna, but sit comfortably mid-table ahead of the summer, allowing them to relax a little before the new campaign, having little to play for.

The Biancorossi cannot count on Patrick Ciurria and Andrea Carboni, both sidelined with injuries, and Alejandro Gomez and Roberto Gagliardini are both out with suspensions.

When these two teams met back in September, Monza held Lazio to a 1-1 draw after goals from Ciro Immobile and Gagliardini.

Probable line-ups for Monza vs Lazio
