As Alessandro Del Piero’s agent confirms all options remain open, he is again linked with a move abroad once his stay with Juventus comes to an end.
The 37-year-old is preparing to leave the Turin giants this summer once his contract expires and speculation is mounting as to where he will go.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Momo Sissoko’s glowing report of his former Juve teammate has been followed by Tuttosport’s understanding that the plush Parisians are tracking the Italian, alongside Premier League side Arsenal.
The No 10 has also been linked with a switch to UAE or to the United States’ MLS. ilSussidiario yesterday caught up with Del Piero’s agent, Stefano Del Piero and whilst reluctant to comment on specific links, the player’s representative and brother did offer some light.
“At this moment there is nothing new. However, all roads are open. There are no restrictions on what type of project is behind a proposal [to the player].
“The type of football [exotic or European] does count, but the main interest is the project. So, all tracks are currently open.
“I think that after 20 years with Juventus and having given his availability to the club to sign a new deal since last February, it is now very difficult to remain in Italy.
“We are not close to anything, but I think it will be hard to remain in Serie A.”
