Vincenzo Iaquinta will remain with Juventus for the 2011-12 campaign, his father has suggested.
Speaking with calciomercato.it, Giuseppe Iaquinta silenced the transfer speculation surrounding his son.
"Nobody has told us that there is a desire to sell him," he stated. "And he still has two years left to run on his contract…
"His hope is to help the team and to get back into the international set-up as we know that boss Cesare Prandelli rates him."
Iaquinta is currently recovering from a pre-season injury that he picked up two weeks ago.
The 32-year-old joined the Old Lady in the summer of 2007 for a fee of €11m from Udinese.
In 109 games across all competitions for La Vecchia Signora, Iaquinta has netted 40 times in the black and white shirt – 30 of those have come in Serie A.
