Galliani: 'Cassano staying with Milan'

Adriano Galliani has reiterated “Antonio Cassano will stay with Milan” despite Fiorentina declaring their interest today.

Viola Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic said in a Press conference that FantAntonio would be a welcome addition to his squad.

“The player has not asked to be sold, nor do Milan have any intention of releasing him, so I can confirm Cassano will stay with us,” said Vice-President Galliani on Milan Channel.

Reports continue to suggest Cassano will either be sold or loaned out this season in order to have more first team football.

This is because Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli warned only those who play regularly at club level will be picked for Euro 2012.

Fiorentina are the favourites to land Cassano, but other options include Genoa, Palermo and Napoli.
