Giampaolo Pazzini makes it clear Inter aren't losing their edge. “We are hungry and want to beat Milan for the Italian Super Cup.”
The two rivals come together for the first official match of the season at 13.00 UK time today at the Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing.
“It's true that Milan are coming off a positive year, know each other well and haven't changed the squad much,” said the striker.
“That gives them a slight advantage, but we are hungry and want to beat Milan for the Italian Super Cup.
“We're going out there to win and prove ourselves in Beijing.”
There is also more pressure on the Nerazzurri due to transfer speculation around Wesley Sneijder and Samuel Eto'o, who have been linked with Manchester United and City respectively.
“I think both of them will stay with Inter,” added Pazzini.
Dejan Stankovic remains a major doubt to feature in today's match after skipping training with a knee problem.
